Cost: The American charges $1.75 per line and $15 per photo for obituaries. The Islander charges $1.25 per line and $15 per photo. The fee for publication in both papers is $2.50 per line and $24 for a photo. A line is the width of a column as it appears in the newspaper, not how it appears on your computer screen.
Once we receive your submission, we will contact you with the final price as soon as possible.
Deadline: Obituaries must be received by 9 a.m. on Wednesday in order to be included in The American’s Thursday edition. The Islander deadline is noon on Wednesday.
